Hotel photography for Hyatt Regency Mainz, capturing modern architecture, historic elements and its unique location directly on the Rhine in a clear visual language.

Rooms and suites, restaurant, bar, lobby and selected interiors were photographed to clearly show the design, spatial layout and the connection to the Rhine.

Objective:
The aim was to show the relationship between modern architecture and the historic structure, particularly through the integration of Fort Malakoff, and to highlight the hotel’s location on the Rhine.

Approach:
The visual approach is based on a clear and reduced composition, using light, perspective and framing to show the spaces as they are.

It focuses on:

  • showing the openness and structure of the interiors

  • including the view from the rooms towards the Rhine

  • making the riverside location visible in the images

Large windows, open layouts and direct views of the water play a central role throughout.

Result & Impact:
The images show the combination of modern architecture, historic elements and a calm atmosphere, helping to position the hotel as a high-quality destination in the Rhine-Main region.

As a hotel photographer, I work with hotels in Mainz as well as across Germany, Europe and internationally.
