Hotel photography for voco Vienna Prater, combining architectural, classic hotel and lifestyle imagery to capture the brand’s relaxed character, the urban setting and the guest experience in a clear visual language.
Rooms, public areas and selected interiors were photographed through a combination of architectural and lifestyle imagery to show the design, spatial layout and the atmosphere of the hotel, while also capturing how guests experience the space.

Objective:
The aim was to capture the distinct character of voco Vienna Prater and to translate the experience of staying there into a clear and consistent visual language.
Particular attention was given to balancing the structured, architectural qualities of the spaces with a more relaxed and human perspective that reflects the brand’s approachable and individual character.
Approach:
In addition to classic hotel photography, which shows rooms, materials and layout, the project focused on creating lifestyle imagery that adds a second layer – capturing real moments, subtle interactions and the overall mood of the hotel.
The visual approach follows a balance between a clean, editorial style and a more documentary perspective, allowing the images to feel both curated and natural.
This reflects the voco brand philosophy of combining reliability with individuality, and structure with a more relaxed, personal atmosphere.
Execution:
The images were created with a strong focus on naturalness and authenticity.
Rather than heavily staged scenes, the aim was to capture real moments and genuine interactions – how guests arrive, move through the spaces and spend time within the hotel.
Available light was used as a foundation and carefully complemented where needed, maintaining a natural look while adding depth and clarity to the images.
This results in imagery that feels immediate, relaxed and connected to the brand’s character.
Result & Impact:
The combination of classic hotel photography and lifestyle imagery creates a more complete visual representation of the hotel.
While the architectural images provide clarity and structure, the lifestyle images convey emotion and atmosphere.
Together, they allow potential guests to not only understand the hotel, but to imagine themselves being there – which plays a key role in building connection and influencing booking decisions.
